7 Home Remedies To Remove Skin Tags At Home
Skin tags are benign skin growth that can occur on any part of the body, including the neck, face, underarm, and beneath the breast. Sometimes skin tags look like small flap of skin that usually appears on the eyelids, underarms, groin,
neck, skin folds, or any part of the body.
In comparison to normal skin, the color of skin tags is a little darker. Usually, these are harmless but their appearance sometime is not good-looking and causes low self-esteem for a person.
But for the positive side, we have several home remedies that can be tried to get rid of skin tags at home. You can get clear and healthy skin by using these natural remedies for common skin problems like skin tags or small warts.
1. LEMON JUICE
Take some lemon juice from a fresh
lemon and apply this directly on the skin tags. Now leave it for quite some time without
washing it off.
Repeat this procedure several times a week for better results and
continue the routine until all the skin tag falls off.
2. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
While you massage the skin tag, make sure to squeeze the cotton ball, so that the skin tag is saturated with the
vinegar. You can repeat this procedure two to three times a day until the skin tag is gone.
Due to the acidic nature of apple cider vinegar, it can cause some mild itching and irritation for a few minutes. To minimize these
effects add some water with apple cider vinegar to dilute it before doing the treatment.
3. GARLIC
You need four fresh garlic
cloves and then ground these up into a paste and apply the paste directly to
the skin. You can place a bandage over this to keep the paste in place.
4. Tea Tree Oil
Take a cotton ball, soaked with water and add a couple drops of Tea Tree oil. Then you dab the cotton
ball on the skin tag and cover it with a bandage. You should repeat this process two to
three times a day for better results.
You can also use Tea Tree Soap, if not comfortable with crude tea tree oil.
5. Baking Soda and Castor Oil
Make a paste by mixing the baking soda
and castor oil together and apply the paste to the skin tag and cover with a
bandage.
Repeat this process several times a week for removing skin tags with baking soda and castor oil.
6. OREGANO OIL for skin tag removal
Oregano oil contains three types of phenolic terpenoid components- Thymol, Carvacrol, and p-cymene, and these have powerful antibacterial properties.
This oil possesses properties that combat melanoma, reduce spasms, alleviate inflammation, provide antioxidant effects, and exhibit antiseptic qualities. This oil is very effective to treat skin tags.
Take four to six drops of coconut oil and two to three drops of oregano oil and make a mixture. Apply this mixture directly to
your skin tag two to three times a day. This will dry out the skin tag and they will fall off on their own.
Always use any carrier oil to dilute the
oregano oil to avoid redness and irritation of the skin.
Note:- This oil
should never be used near the eyes.
7. Bananas
Banana peel for skin tag removal is a good and easily available option. Banana peel is very good to remove skin tags and warts.
Rub
the banana peel on skin tags and wart every night at least for 15 days. This
will remove all the skin tags.
